due to Pregnancy, aging, sudden or excessive weight changes or excessive sunbathing the skin will be thinner with time, as the elastic fibers and collagen fibers will get damaged, creating cracks in the skin. As a result, damaged skin becomes loosened and saggy over time. And Patients are uncomfortable with the swinging of the skin folds and rubbing of the inside of the legs while walking.
Thigh Lifting, or 3D laser lipolysis?
We have two evaluation criteria in patients. One is the amount of excess skin and sag in the leg (thigh) area and the other is the presence of excess fat. If there is a slight degree of loosening and fatty tissues in the inner and anterior skin of the thigh, recovery can be achieved with 3D Laser lipolysis; and of course, there will be no scar. for the patient with very few stretch marks that have both excess fat and loose thigh skin, the skin can recover to a satisfactory degree after 3D laser-lipolysis. Fat cells taken during 3D laser lipolysis can be used to support the hip or fill the dips and correct the contour. If the thigh skin of the patient is not tightened as desired after 3D laser-lipolysis, lifting operation can be performed after 4 months.
How is it done?
Thigh stretching is performed with general anesthesia. It usually takes 3-4 hours.
If there is only excess skin but there is no excess fat then only excess skin is removed. But if there is both fat and skin excess sagging fat tissue in the Thigh is first withdrawn by liquefaction with Vaser-lipo and then excess skin is removed. The incision scar is usually concealed in the groin area and the butt line and decreases with time. However, if the excess skin is not limited to the inside of the thigh but extends into the knee, the incision in the groin is not sufficient and a vertical incision in the thigh should be made and the scar becomes more visible.
The incision takes about 10 days to heal. Postoperative pain problem is not very much. However, if the patient moves too much or makes movements that can stretch the skin, wound healing problems and pain may occur. It is recommended to use corset for up to 3 weeks.
If the patient moves in a wrong way after the thigh Lifting operation, suturing might get broken the wound might open and healing problems may occur. If the patient doesn’t use the corset or uses a very loose corset, fluid accumulation (seroma) and blood accumulation (hematoma) can be seen on the subcutaneous tissue. If hygiene is not observed, infection may occur.
